AQI data warehouse transition July 1

As we approach the transition to AQI's new data warehouse Monday, July 1, the following information should help you prepare for the transition.

  • The NACOR dashboard is locked and no changes will be accepted to practice, provider and facility lists. However, reports are still accessible.
  • Current NACOR dashboard User Accounts will be imported to the new dashboard. Users will receive an email, Monday, July 1 to reset their passwords to gain access to the new dashboard.
  • Starting July 1 help desk tickets should be sent to NACORSupport@asahq.org
  • Practices and vendors can continue to upload data files to https://nacor.ePreop.com.
  • No changes to the data validation email. Data submitters will continue to receive data validation email as normal.
  • On July 1, changes to the practice, provider, and facility lists will resume in the new dashboard.

MIPS data validation and audit begins for performance years 2017 and 2018

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is conducting data validation and audits of a select number of Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) eligible clinicians to help ensure MIPS is operating with accurate and useful data. MIPS eligible clinicians, groups and virtual groups are required to comply with data sharing requests, providing all data as requested by CMS.

If selected for data validation and/or audit, you will receive a notification request via email or by certified mail and have 45 calendar days to provide the requested information.

If you do not provide the requested information, CMS may take further action, including the possibility that you will be selected for future audits. To help avoid this, CMS has the following data validation and audit resources available on the Quality Payment Program Resource Library:

  • 2017 MIPS Data Validation Criteria
  • 2018 MIPS Data Validation Criteria

For more information email the QPP helpdesk at QPP@cms.hhs.gov

2018 MIPS Final Scores

CMS is scheduled to release final MIPS scores in July. To view final scores, Eligible Clinicians must log in to their HARP accounts with CMS, as AQI does not have access to final scores. Letters with final scores will not be sent to clinicians. Practices without HARP accounts can obtain them through the CMS Enterprise Portal by selecting "PQRS: Physician Quality Reporting System" when prompted to "Choose your application."

2019 XML schema changes required July 1

Effective July 1 all data submissions to NACOR must use the 2019 version of the XML Schema. The updated 2019 schema information and an XML validation are posted on the AQI website. Any files submitted using the 2018 format will fail validation. Please check with your vendors to ensure they are using the updated version.

Office Hour FAQs

In 2019, which NACOR reporting option(s) include national benchmarks?

NACOR Benchmarking, NACOR Quality Reporting and Quality Concierge all include national benchmarks. NACOR Basic is benchmarking at the local level only.

Where do we apply for a HARP account?

HARP accounts can be obtained through the CMS Enterprise portal. Visit the New User Application, then select PQRS: Physician Quality Reporting System when asked to choose your application. HARP accounts are required to view your practice's 2018 Final MIPS scores.
