The deadline for providers to register for 2019 NACOR Reporting (Basic, Benchmarking or Quality) is Thursday, October 31. Learn more about NACOR Quality Reporting offerings.
Note: Clinicians and practices enrolled in Quality Concierge are not required to register.
Quality Reporting data file notifications
Beginning Tuesday, October 8th, AQI began sending notifications to 2019 Quality Reporting practices via email. The notifications indicated if a new data file has been uploaded to NACOR or if we have not yet received a data file for the 2019 reporting year. If a new data file has been uploaded, AQI encourages a member of your practice to review the NACOR dashboard as it will allow you to monitor your providers' performance as well as identify problems with measures submitted and make necessary corrections. The notifications will be sent every other week through the final data submission deadline which is Friday, February 14, 2020.

Comment on ASA draft quality measures
The American Society of Anesthesiologists is seeking comments on draft quality measures currently under development by the Core Measure Development Group, under the direction of the Committee on Performance and Outcomes Measurement. The following quality measures are open for public comment through November 22.
- Prevention of Arterial Line-Related Bloodstream Infections
- Perioperative Anemia Management
- Intraoperative Antibiotic Redosing
- Ambulatory Glucose Management
The public comment period is an integral step in the measure development process and an opportunity for relevant stakeholders to give input and ensure the measures are meaningful and appropriate indicators of quality, and feasible for individuals and practices to collect.

Remember to review your 2019 quality reports in the new NACOR dashboard. For practices that have uploaded a new data file, AQI encourages a member of your practice to review the NACOR dashboard as it allows you to monitor your providers' performance, as well as pinpoint any problems with the data and make necessary corrections prior to data submission deadlines.
