2019 MIPS Final Scores
CMS is scheduled to release final MIPS scores in July. To view final scores, Eligible Clinicians must log in to their HARP accounts with CMS, as AQI does not have access to final scores. Letters with final scores will not be sent to clinicians. Practices without HARP accounts can obtain them through the CMS Enterprise Portal by selecting "PQRS: Physician Quality Reporting System" when prompted to "Choose your application."
Register for 2020 NACOR reporting
Quality reporting practices can register for the Anesthesia Quality Institute's (AQI) 2020 NACOR Quality Reporting by completing the new online order form. NACOR is a designated QR and QCDR for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' Quality Payment Program.
AQI's NACOR quality reporting options include the following offerings in 2020 to ensure that NACOR remains the leader in anesthesiology: Quality Concierge, NACOR Quality Reporting, NACOR Benchmarking and NACOR Basic. All practices re-enrolling in NACOR Quality Reporting, Benchmarking or Basic should complete a new order form for 2020. Practices enrolled in Quality Concierge are not required to complete the form.

Benefits beyond MIPS
Practices and physician anesthesiologists submitting data to the Anesthesia Quality Institute's National Anesthesia Clinical Outcomes Registry (NACOR) are finding they can use the data for business development, hospital performance goals and managed care contracts. They are also becoming more efficient in local quality improvement processes too.
NACOR benchmarking allows practices to report their billing and administrative data, as well as continue to report quality measures (MIPS and QCDR) without submitting to CMS. Submitting data will help build consistent, year-over-year quality and outcomes data that will help you:
- Negotiate contracts with hospitals
- Report quality data to private insurers to negotiate fee increases
- Benchmark performance against 15,000 participants
- Provide support for mergers, sales and acquisitions

2020 membership deadlines
For clinicians to receive ASA Member pricing for 2020 NACOR Reporting, clinicians must have an active 2020 ASA membership. Final payment for AQI services is determined by 2020 ASA membership status. The following ASA membership deadlines are in place:
- October 1 - Deadline for new ASA membership invoices for 2020; practices must supply list of non-members becoming members to ASA membership
- October 25 - Last day to pay ASA dues for 2020 membership
- October 31 - NACOR registration deadline. Non-members pay non-member pricing
