2018 NACOR renewal deadline approaching

ASA members who will be participating in 2018 NACOR Quality Reporting must complete their 2018 ASA membership renewal by the end of business on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Members who have not renewed their memberships by October 11 will be charged the NACOR non-member rates for 2018 quality reporting.

Electronic provider consent forms for individual reporting

AQI's NACOR will begin collecting provider consent forms in the fall from each Eligible Clinician (EC) who is enrolled in 2018 individual quality reporting, as required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). AQI recommends that practices routinely update their email addresses and provider lists in the NACOR dashboard. The goal is to have provider consent forms completed by early October.

Attesting to Improvement Activities via NACOR

The Improvement Activity category in 2018 rewards clinicians for activities that improve clinical practice and patient safety. Improvement Activities will account for 15 percent of the final MIPS score in 2018. Clinicians can attest to recommended Improvement Activities for anesthesiology using the provider list in the NACOR dashboard.
