Updated coding for the Perioperative Anemia Management Measure Denominator Exclusion

The Anesthesia Quality Institute recently assigned a code for reporting the denominator exclusion on AQI72: Perioperative Anemia Management. The new code, 11A80, should be used when a “Surgeon or other non-anesthesia professional clinician completed one or more of the management strategies without direction or assistance from the anesthesia professional.”

The exclusion had always been a part of the measure; however, a registry code was inadvertently not included in the measure book.

The updated measure book with the new code is available on the AQI Quality Reporting website.

FTP access: inactive after 90 days

For security reasons, all FTP accounts (for those who upload data to NACOR) will be disabled if no activity occurs within a 90-day window. As data submission deadlines approach, you may not have access to log in to the FTP when you are ready to submit data.

If you suspect your account has been disabled due to inactivity, submit a help desk ticket by emailing NACORSupport@asahq.org. FTP access has no impact on user access to the NACOR dashboard.
